Helluva Boss has found a new home for its third season, and the animated hit will soon become an Amazon Prime Video exclusive. The wacky musical cartoon series concerns the employees of I.M.P., an assassination service based in Hell that works within the realm of the living. The web sensation was created by multi-hyphenated artist, Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano, and Helluva Boss is set within the same universe as the Prime Video smash-hit, Hazbin Hotel. Though they share a universe, they don’t share the same cast and actually explore different corners of Medrano’s unique vision of the underworld.
After a pilot episode in late 2019, Helluva Boss premiered its first season a year later on Halloween 2020. The show became an instant smash in online circles, and Medrano’s presence on YouTube grew when a sophomore season followed in 2022. The artist known as VivziePop was further propelled into the mainstream when, in 2024, Hazbin Hotel debuted on Amazon Prime Video. The instant success of Medrano’s other animated musical series has inspired Amazon to scoop up Helluva Boss, and its forthcoming third season will have an even larger audience.

Season 3 Is Coming To Amazon Prime Video
Following the riotous success of Hazbin Hotel, the latest news confirms that Helluva Boss has landed on Amazon Prime Video too. Both shows will now stream exclusively on Amazon’s signature platform, with the first two seasons of Helluva Boss coming to Prime Video in fall 2025. The existing two seasons will remain on YouTube, but the upcoming third season will air on Prime Video first, before finding its way to the free video hosting site about a month after its Prime Video debut.

The announcement didn’t come with any clues as to when Helluva Boss season 3 will actually arrive, and it’s already been two years since it was announced. However, the reveal of the partnership did come with an interesting teaser video that gives away some fun details. Charlie from Hazbin Hotel begins by talking about her show’s success before she is interrupted by Blitz, who hijacks everything to announce Helluva Boss‘ partnership with Prime Video. This not only lays out all the details about the partnership, but also pretty much confirms that the shows can finally cross over.

Though the supporting role of Beelzebub has been recast, with pop star Kesha leaving the role for Rochelle Diamante, the main cast of Helluva Boss will remain consistent going into season 3. Leading the charge as always is Brandon Rogers as the foul-mouthed founder of I.M.P., Blitzø, and he’ll be joined by Richard Horvitz as the weapons expert, Moxxie. Vivian Nixon will reprise her role as the tough but loving Millie, who is married to Moxxie, while Erica Lindbeck plays the hellhound, Loona.
The role of Stolas will again be played by Bryce Pinkham, and Blitzø’s childhood friend, Fizzaroli, is voiced by Alex Brightman. There are a myriad of supporting characters in the show, but it’s unclear which will appear in season 3. It’s also unclear which new characters will be added to the ensemble in future episodes. Perhaps the biggest question mark concerning season 3’s cast is the characters from Hazbin Hotel, and a crossover between the shows is now possible thanks to the Amazon Prime Video deal.

A Revolution Is Forming Within The Ranks Of Hell
The season 2 finale of Helluva Boss was an action-packed spectacle, but it also helped to set the stage for season 3. With Stolas sentenced to live among the common folk of Hell for a century, he moves in with Blitzø and they rekindle their relationship. Nothing is set in stone between them, but their simmering romance will surely be reignited by their proximity. Meanwhile, Moxxie and Millie are expecting a child, but Millie hasn’t told him yet. It’s unclear how this will impact their relationship, and it could cause conflict as they could have different ideas about parenthood.
Perhaps most importantly of all, I.M.P. being pardoned has inspired Imp-kind, and the current order within Hell is on the brink of being challenged. The demonic royalty showed their hand during the trial, and I.M.P. could be the spearhead of a revolution that no one saw coming. On top of all that, Helluva Boss season 3 could also feature crossovers with Hazbin Hotel, and that infinitely expands the narrative possibilities.
