Knives Out franchise creator Rian Johnson addresses theater hopes and the release window for Wake Up Dead Man.
Recently, in an interview with Business Insider, while discussing his returning show Poker Face, Johnson shared his hopes that the third Knives Out movie could end up in as many theaters as possible despite comments from Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. He also confirmed that Wake Up Dead Man is expected to be released in the fall of this year.
“I want this in as many theaters for as long as possible. We’re going to push for everything we can get in terms of theatrical because I want as many people as possible to see it in that form.”
