Stars of Below Deck Down Under, Johnny Arvanitis and Alesia Harris, hit a rough patch while filming, but their relationship may have prevailed. Johnny, a deckhand, and Alesia, a sous chef, connected almost instantly on the reality TV show. A drunken mishap by Alesia triggered a violent outburst from Johnny, which ultimately resulted in his termination. Everything changed for the couple after one particularly rough night, in which Alesia returned to Johnny’s room. Johnny had been sharing this room with his supervisor, Bosun Wihan Du Toit. Alesia had entered, noticed a body on the top bunk, and started talking with someone she assumed to be Johnny. Wihan, having just woken up, did not correct the sous chef, even after she climbed into bed with him.
When Johnny entered, Alesia immediately recognized her mistake and explained the situation. Johnny, in disbelief, stepped out after saying, “I don’t know what I’ve seen.” Alesia tried assuaging his concerns by following him out of the room and offering context, but Johnny couldn’t believe this story. She left to recount the events in the girls’ room, and things spiraled between Johnny and Wihan.

Johnny stepped back in after proposing that he would quit the show entirely. Wihan questioned what was happening, asking, “Can you please tell me what’s going on?” Johnny’s resentment continued to build as he ignored Wihan’s request and collected his belongings. Johnny didn’t forgive the indiscretion that easily and stated:
“You guys are all fake.”
Wihan continued to plead innocent as Johnny reflected on the events. After a tense silence, Johnny snapped and threatened, “If I hear a little bit more and touch, this boat is going to sink. I promise you.” Johnny then began yelling and punched the wall, as the frightened women collected in another room.
In the next episode, Johnny was fired from his position.

Alesia & Johnny Went Their Separate Ways
Alesia and Johnny continued talking after this confrontation and his termination. The couple stayed in contact online while she completed the season, but it soon became clear that their boatmance was not lasting love. They are no longer together.
Johnny posted on Instagram about a relationship with another anonymous partner shortly after his elimination, but no other updates have been shared. It seems that the couple’s gone their separate ways. While this news may be disappointing, fans of Below Deck Down Under can rest assured that the romance was a cherished moment during their reality stint.
