An overview trailer for Elden Ring Nightreign has given the first look at many of the Nightfarers’ alternate cosmetics, including some inspired by iconic outfits from Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The so-called Fashion Souls movement has sprung up around FromSoftware’s games, and many sets of armor from the studio’s RPGs have become iconic, and now make their way into the co-op roguelite.
Bandai Namco‘s overview trailer on YouTube for Elden Ring Nightreign covers a lot of ground, but one of the more exciting reveals for longtime fans includes outfits inspired by previous FromSoftware games. Players will be able to equip the Faraam set from Dark Souls 2 (the armor featured on the cover), Solaire’s outfit from the original Dark Souls, and hunter garb inspired by the outfits in Bloodborne. According to the trailer, all cosmetics will be earned in-game by spending Murk, a currency earned from playing.
