The Crew 2 by Ubisoft just got an offline mode update, after angering fans by taking down the game’s servers last year. The racing game from Ubisoft Ivory Tower might have been out for seven years, but fans were still devastated when servers for the always-online title were shut down in September 2024. In response to fan outcry, Ubisoft promised players that it would bring an offline mode to the title.
It looks like Ubisoft plans to deliver on this promise. In an update shared to the Ubisoft YouTube channel, The Crew 2 Producer Grégory Corgié has addressed some common questions from fans. According to Corgié, The Crew 2 offline mode will be ready for release before the end of 2025, with The Crew: Motorfest to follow suit after.
