Allegedly, “nobody” at Rockstar Games believed the initial fall 2025 release for Grand Theft Auto 6 was achievable.
According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier on Bluesky, no one he had spoken to at Rockstar Games actually believed the fall 2025 release window was real for a long time, stating there was too much work, not enough time, and a desire from management to avoid “brutal crunch.”
