This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

The original release of Oblivion was full of memorable bugs, glitches, and even its fair share of crashes. Most of those were harmless fun that saw a lot of humorous memes and stories spawn from it. Now, almost two decades later, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is out, and fans are celebrating all the nostalgic quirks and the faithfulness of the original title, even when it comes to crashes.

In a post from LegendaryDrops on X, the user notes that the game crashed on them after closing an Oblivion gate and said, “It’s just like I remember it.” Another X user, PMS Jordan, shared a similar experience with a crash, and said, “Wouldn’t be an Elder Scrolls game without a hard crash. God, I missed Oblivion,” (via GamesRadar+ and IGN).

More to follow.
