While Baby Billy Freeman, the Lissons, and Montgomerys, and the Simkins are all fantastic characters, none of them have been nearly as evil as this foe in The Righteous Gemstones season 4.
The first half of The Righteous Gemstones season 4 set up a major mystery, with Lori Milsap’s various ex-boyfriends being killed off by a mysterious figure. While it was set up that Lori could be The Righteous Gemstones season 4’s villain, “Interlude IV” introduced another potential candidate. Now, The Righteous Gemstones season 4, episode 7 has proven how evil he is, with episode 8 showing the culmination of his plan and his subsequent death.
Cobb Is By Far The Righteous Gemstones’ Most Sadistic Villain

Michael Rooker’s Cobb Milsap is the main villain in The Righteous Gemstones season 4, and he is the show’s most sadistic antagonist yet. In episode 8, Cobb knocks Eli and Baby Billy out with a blow dart. When they wake up, they find that they are tied up in a secret room at Cobb’s alligator farm. They discover that Cobb has kept a character named Mitch naked and chained up, with him only living because he performs sexual acts on Cobb. The rest of Lori’s exes have been fed to the alligators, with Eli and Baby Billy facing this fate.

These details make Cobb far more dangerous than the show’s other villains. Baby Billy, the Lissons, and the Simkins were mostly motivated by money and power, although they almost never resorted to violence. Scotty Steele and the Montgomerys weren’t afraid to resort to violence, although it always seemed to be a means to an end. Cobb’s violence in season 4 is irrational and unnecessary, with the violence seemingly being something that Cobb enjoys.

Cobb Milsap dies in The Righteous Gemstones season 4, episode 8 as Eli and Baby Billy are trying to escape, with the characters actually having to kill him. While Cobb is engaged in a fistfight with the duo, Corey jumps in and stabs Cobb in the back. Corey pushes Cobb into an alligator habitat, with Eli ringing the feeding bell. The alligator then eats Cobb, presumably killing him.
