Per Deadline, CSI: Vegas star Matt Lauria has been cast in what is said to be the male lead role of Boone. The character is described as Sheriff Mickey Fox’s tough and capable deputy and longtime partner, who has a very contrasting style of law enforcement to Mickey, causing some occasional tension between the two.
